Peer Review Process
Description of the Peer Review Process
Paper Submission
Authors submit their research papers to I3CSET-2026 through the official submission system, preferably on CMT before the deadline. Papers are screened on their technical content and relevance to conference topics. Submissions that fall outside the intended scope may be disregarded.
Initial Screening (Preliminary Check)
The conference organizers conduct an initial check to ensure all papers meet basic requirements, such as:
- Reference scope and topic relevance
- Proper formatting and structure
- Language clarity
- Compliance with submission guidelines
Papers failing these checks may receive a desk rejection.
Assignment to the Technical Program Committee (TPC)
Qualifying papers are assigned to members of the Technical Program Committee. The TPC ensures the papers reached suitable reviewers who have expertise in the paper's subject area.
Reviewer Allocation
Each paper is evaluated by two or more independent reviewers. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and to avoid conflicts of interest. They may include faculty members, researchers, and industry experts.
Review Method
I3CSET-2026 generally follows a peer reviewed evaluation system, where reviewers critically assess the submitted research. The review process helps protect review confidentiality, reduces decision-making bias, and ensures a fair evaluation process.
Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers assess the quality of the submission using important factors such as:
- Research significance and novelty of the work
- Technical accuracy and correctness
- Relevance to conference themes
- Clarity, structure, and presentation of results
- Research significance and practical impact
Reviewer Reports and Recommendations
Reviewers provide detailed comments, corrections, and improvement suggestions. They recommend one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Accept with Minor Revisions
- Major Revision Required
- Reject
Final Decision by the Committee
The TPC and area committee make the final acceptance decision based on reviewed feedback. Papers with strong contribution and acceptable quality are selected for presentation and publication.
Revision and Camera-Ready Submission
If revisions are required, authors must update the paper and submit a final camera-ready version. This version must strictly follow the formatting rules, since it will be included in the conference proceedings.
Registration, Presentation, and Publication
Final publication depends on completing the required steps, such as:
- Author registration
- Final paper submission approval
- Presentation (oral/poster) during the conference
After a successful presentation, accepted papers are included in the I3CSET-2026 conference proceedings.
Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The conference is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism. Violations of any form of data fabrication, falsification, or unethical research practices will result in rejection. The conference follows a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer-review process, and all authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to accepted ethical guidelines in research and publication.
